Ready to Begin Your Retrofit Journey?

Start with an initial consultation — a focused discussion about your home, permissions, and next steps — leading to a clear written summary and cost outline.

Initial Consultation

You’re in the right place to book your initial consultation — the first step before any design or surveys begin. This is a focused conversation about your home, your aims, and what’s realistically achievable. You’ll receive a short written summary with next steps, likely permissions or surveys, and outline costs. The map of process for securing Initial Consultation is provided on PROCESS / MY PROCESS page (available from the top menu).

Beyond this consultation

If there’s a good fit and further work makes sense, the next stages typically follow this path:

1 – Surveys and Assessments. Specialist checks (such as measured surveys, condition reports, or energy assessments) to ensure design decisions are based on facts.

2 – Feasibility Study. Brings together survey results and retrofit priorities to test different options and costs before design begins.

3 – Design. Development of drawings, specifications, schedules and details for builder pricing and statutory permissions — planning, building control, and utility consents as required.

4 – Delivery. Support during construction to keep work aligned with the agreed design and payments tied to verified progress.

What We May Do

Should we decide to work together during your whole project, we may to any of the following: Extend your home or convert a loft into a habitable room; Reposition or resize windows for better light, privacy, and views; Add or upgrade insulation for year-round comfort; Improve airtightness and ventilation strategies; Replace or upgrade heating systems for comfort and efficiency

Example Results

Before: Cold, dark kitchen cut off from the garden; high heating bills; recurring condensation on windows.
After: Bright kitchen with direct garden access, triple-glazed windows in the right places, improved insulation, and balanced ventilation — warm in winter, cool in summer, and free of condensation.
