Certificated Deep Retrofit Houses
EnerPHit is a certification based on the Passive House Institute standards — adapted specifically for existing buildings.
It’s about achieving serious performance:
✅ ultra-low energy use
✅ no cold spots
✅ filtered fresh air
✅ consistently high comfort
And the certificate proves, independently, that the target was reached.
But EnerPHit is demanding.
Not every building suits it.
Not every client wants to go all the way.
I work with clients to decide whether EnerPHit is:
- the goal
- a reference point
- or simply a source of ideas without full commitment
Often, retrofit isn’t the whole picture.
Most homes also need to solve other things: extensions, layout changes, long-term flexibility. That’s where Retrofit+ comes in. I call such projects Retrofit+.
