Independent Architect Helping Northern Ireland Homes Perform Better

I’m Marcin Piotrowicz — an architect specialising in retrofit design and whole-house energy upgrades, bringing rigorous Passive House standards to every project I take on.

I’m Marcin Witold Piotrowicz — but most clients call me Vito. I’m a UK-registered architect based in Belfast, specialising in home retrofit design and practical energy upgrades. Over the past 11+ years, I’ve helped homeowners remodel, extend, and future-proof older properties, with a strong focus on comfort, energy efficiency, and environmental standards.

Whether I’m inspecting a cavity wall with a boroscope in high-vis and hard hat, or planning the detailed sequence of a whole-house retrofit, my approach combines hands-on site knowledge with formal design expertise. This balance helps clients navigate not just drawings and permissions, but also the practical realities of upgrading older, neglected buildings.
